We have a very light day from an astrological perspective. Some minor tension but nothing we can't handle. When we are dealing with only lunar aspects we are really just dealing with changing moods and we should know that moods come and go; moods are changeable by nature.

The moon enters Virgo at 5:09 AM EST. Moon in Virgo can be critical but that is only because she pays such close attention to details! She likes to keep busy so today is a good day to focus on being productive and practical.

Our first aspect of the day is the moon opposite Neptune which peaks at 7:13 PM. Under this aspect we tend to wear our rose-colored glasses which means we may have trouble seeing things how thay really are. We can call it wishful thinking. Just because we believe something to be true does not mean it is true.

Next the moon makes a square to Saturn which is exact at 8:41 PM. This influence is somewhat opposite of the previous aspect … before we could not grasp reality and not we are only seeing reality! These two things together (Saturn and Neptune) call for a state of balance between hope and reality, between faith and hard work, in order to feel balanced within. It would be a good day to work on setting goals … ask yourself what you would do if there were no obstacles … and then figure out a way to do what you can in a practical approach so you can in fact reach those goals in time.

An essential oil I would recommend for today is geranium which is supportive and kind.

A good stone to work with today is smoky quartz which is grounding and aids us in feeling centered.
