Today is a split lunar day, starting with the moon in Scorpio until the afternoon when she moves into the sign of Sagittarius. The moon in Scorpio brings out some deep emotions that can be kind of raw. Especially the closer to the ingression of the moon into Sagittarius, we might feel especially rough. Be patient with yourself today, especially in the morning.

The Scorpio moon makes a sextile to Jupiter in Virgo at 1:22 AM. This is a nice energy that has us feeling cheerful and cooperative. After this aspect perfects Lady Luna moves into her 12 hour void-of-course phase. The void-of-course phase is a great time to work on what is already there - not starting new things. It is also a wonderful time to connect with Spirit and even take time to care for yourself.

At 1:24 PM the moon moved into the sign of Sagittarius. This will be like a huge sigh of relief to many of us. Those last few degrees of Scorpio can be quite heavy and deep for a lot of us. Sagittarius moon is carefree, fun and wants to explore the world in either a philosophical way or even actual travel. If you can't actually travel, thinking about your next vacation is not a bad idea!

The last aspect is when the moon conjuncts with Mars both in Sagittarius at 9:04 PM. Even though this is evening time for lots of us, we will feel active and want to keep things fresh. A good way to handle this energy is work out or expend your energy on finishing tasks that you may have already started.

The essential oil suggestion for today is Lemon. Lemon helps to life the spirit and bring a positive focus on things at hand.

The gemstone suggestion for today is Purpurite. Purpurite is a great gemstone to help you feel like you are on top of your game. The Scorpio moon sometimes has us feeling a bit beat up and Purpurite will help sooth that energy and bring out the fun of the Sagittarius moon when Lady Luna makes her ingression.
