It is a quiet day in the stars today, only lunar aspects. I know we talk about them but aspects involving the moon are like fleeting emotions. They come and go and usually do not have any lasting impact.


We start with the moon in Scorpio making a supportive sextile to dark Pluto in Capricorn which peaks at 1:19 AM. This aspect is good for promoting deep inner work. It is also somewhat sexy … like it can put you in the mood. Scorpio rules the genitals and as such is associated with sex more strongly than other signs and Pluto, which is considered the modern ruler of Scorpio, has that connotation, too.


For the next aspect the moon makes a sextile to Jupiter in Virgo which perfects at 7:23 AM. This is a good way to start the day. We feel optimistic and are in a generally good humor. Getting up in the right side of the bed for a change is nice!


At 2:45 PM we have the waxing trine from the sun to the moon. With both the sun and moon in water signs this is a great time for planting and fertility work. Water signs are considered the most fertile of all the signs so if you have plants to cultivate into growth or seeds to plant this is a good time to do it. Time it so you begin before this aspect perfects.


The moon conjoins Mars in Scorpio at 6:22 PM and then goes void-of-course. More sex! Also more activity, more drive, more ambition. But once the moon goes void-of-course we lose that drive and ambition so get it done before this aspect peaks, if possible!


The recommended gemstone for the day is black tourmaline which helps to release negativity.


The essential oil for today is ginger which promotes warmth of heart and spirit.
