The moon is in diplomatic and partnership orientated Libra all day today. You might feel a bit more agreeable or comparable during this time. Libra moon also has us wanting to beautify our surroundings, So if you feel like doing something to make you feel beautiful, today is a great day to do it!

The Libra moon comes to a sextile with Saturn in Sagittarius at 1:45 AM. This makes for a harmonious time between our feelings and the inner structure of our hearts. This is a great time for giving or receiving good solid advise too.

Next Mercury in Cancer comes to a square with Uranus in Aries at 3:29 AM. This is a time when our minds can receive flashes of inspiration or insight, and is not so conducive towards a great nights sleep. We might be feeling restless and our minds may be going a little wild. If that is the case, try to remind yourself to focus on positive things instead of focusing on the negative. It will help ease the mind tension that is possible during this time.

The Libra moon then comes to a square with Pluto in Capricorn at 12:47 PM. This can have you feeling quite demanding of yourself and your emotions. Try to remember to be loving and kind to your own heart during this time and not be so demanding on yourself or others.

The last aspect today is when the moon in Libra comes to a square with the sun in Cancer, creating the second quarter moon. This peaks at 5:52 and is the last hard aspect that happens before the moon and sun oppose each other (in other words the moon is full). That full moon happens next Tuesday July 19th. This time from the last quarter moon until the full moon is a time that things can feel as if they are emotionally culminating and coming to a head. You might notice as the moon keeps growing in size, that emotions feel fuller and more intense. Try to remember that this is the cycle of the moon and it is part of how the moon itself effects all of us, so don't let the emotions make you crazy! Instead learn to ride the waves of emotions, like a surfer on his surfboard in the ocean. Nice and smooth!

The gemstone suggestion for today is Lapis Lazuli. Lapis Lazuli gives us the ability to clearly speak our hearts while feeling grounded and centered today. This is an excellent gemstone to work with up until the moon is full on the 19th.

The essential oil suggestion for today is Lemongrass. Lemongrass is the essential oil that helps us be playful and embrace innocence. It is also an excellent essential oil for clearing our energies and starting fresh.
