Astrology for Sept. 27, 2016 - Mars in Capricorn - Time to Work!

Today is another shifting of the energies day! 

Mars is the planet that governs over our energy, or to the ancient astrologers, the planet of war... Changes signs (ingresses) into the sign of Capricorn today at 4:09 AM. This is where he stays until November 11th, this year. He hangs in a sign for about a month and half or so. 

Since Mars governs over our energy and Capricorn is all about being on top of things. We may notice ourselves being more goal-orientated and focused on doing work. This is good, especially if you feel like your energy has been "too fun" or you have not been so responsible the bit of time while Mars was traveling through the sign of Sagittarius. Sagittarius is jovial and happy and likes to throw money around. Sagittarius, doesn't necessarily plan for the future, like Capricorn does. Mars in Capricorn is much more serious and wants to get make things more defined. So in a way, even though Capricorn is not known for being overly "fun" although he can have fun in his own way. This energy will likely be a relief to many that need to get things more together.

Also Mars governs over our anger and frustrations, so you may notice yourself feeling cooler headed and more in self-control when it comes to being angry. You might also notice your drive and sexuality takes a seat in the back while you focus on the business side of your life. Mars in Capricorn itself is not very self-indulgent and can have those of us that vibe with this energy or have Capricorn planets, more disciplined and even possess the ability to plan for the future better.

The first aspect for today is when the moon in Leo comes to a trine with Uranus in Aries at 4:52 AM. This has us feeling awaken and excited to get things going early! You might think about going for and early morning walk and appreciate being in the moment. Uranus enjoys being in the present, while the moon feels comfortable with the past. A good example to use this aspect is to take that nice walk, in your neighborhood or a beautiful park that has special memories for you. You can enjoy the comfort of being in a familiar place while being present and enjoying the present moment and fresh crisp air.

After this aspect the moon goes into her void-of-course phase until 5:43 PM. So for most of the rest of the day, we might feel a little aimless or like taking a break. If you can rest, take a break, meditate or simply enjoy spending time with yourself - then this is a good time to do that. If not, just push through whatever you need to get done, but try not to start new projects until the moon ingresses into the next sign!

The moon makes her ingress into Virgo at 5:43 PM. This is where she is her most meticulous. You may notice things that you do not usually notice. You might get an urge to clean or care for your home. You might even think about your eating and self-care habits and how you can better them. All of these things are themes in your moods during the Virgo moon, which by the way lasts until early Friday morning.

The last aspect for today is when the moon in Virgo make a trine to Pluto in Capricorn at 10:24 PM. Even though this is a Pluto aspect, we feel loving and passionate under it. The things or people we love, become a little more dear to us and we want to somehow express that to them. This is a nice time to communicate about things that are deep, and from the heart with your loved ones. Especially if you need to talk, take time to tell your loved one now - lets talk, and talk deeply from the heart.

The gemstone suggestion for today is Moss Agate. Moss Agate is helpful for keeping us balanced and soothing any hot energy. it connects both with Mars moving into Capricorn and the moon in Virgo.

The essential oil suggestion for today is Pine. Pine is helpful at healing any wounds from the past. It also connects with Mars in Capricorn, being useful at business and creating money in your life. Just remember, you can't just burn some Pine oil and expect money to fall from Heaven. Do some work, or look for work if you are not working and watch as you find it easier to make that happen for yourself.
