Shortly after midnight the Aries moon makes a square to Pluto in Capricorn, perfecting at 12:38 AM. This is tension, it relates to mysteries, secrets, power, sex … and thankfully it is a short term, minor aspect. It is a great energy for something like tantra so if you are into that, enjoy!


The big news of the day is Venus in Libra opposing Uranus in Aries. While this peaks at 4:06 AM we should be able to feel this energy all weekend. There is something impertinent about this combination … we throw aside etiquette or what may be considered “proper” and we follow our hearts, instead. If that means jumping in a fountain, or introducing ourselves to a stranger, there is something impatiently romantic here. Rushing headlong into something without a second thought. Following your sudden urges and taking risks that you might not otherwise. All I can say here is hey if you are going to get crazy please use a condom! It is that type of day you could meet a stranger and wind up in bed together and just throw caution to the wind so keep it in mind that some caution is appropriate!


The moon conjoins Uranus at 2:32 PM which is a jolt of excitement. We want to shake things up and do something different! This is also a feeling of impatience and of seizing the day! Carpe diem, right? Yes, please, go ahead and live a little!


The moon opposes Venus at 3:30 PM and we feel a strong desire to relate. We want to with someone! We want to feel connected, feel understood, and just know that we are not alone. If you are alone and feeling lonely just take the risk and reach out to someone!


And finally we have the moon making a trine to Mars at 4:10 PM, adding to the impatient energy of the day. This is great for getting things done, for making something happen. It is not so great for waiting. If you do need to be patient try to channel this energy into something healthy like exercise instead of just sitting around. After this aspect peaks the moon is void-of-course and I am hoping we can relax from this point on since the rest of today is like we are mainlining caffeine or something. The void-of-course moon helps us to slow down after what is otherwise a very active day.


The recommended gemstone for today is smoky quartz which will help us ground through the excitement and unsettling energy today. If you do feel a buzz from the energy today try holding this stone is your hand and taking a few deep breaths while re-establishing your connection to mother earth.


A great essential oil for today is lemon which is refreshing but also calming. It helps us reset our energy and cleanse from negative influences.
