We begin the day with the moon in Taurus making a sextile to spiritual Neptune. This aspect is kind of like making an altar at home. It is a very practical solution to making our connection to the divine more accessible.


The moon makes a sextile to Venus at 7:57 AM. We feel connected, we feel at ease. We enjoy the company of others and we are able to share or feelings without difficulty. This is a subtle influence but it is also quite enjoyable.


At 9:17 AM the moon makes a trine to Pluto. This aspect is one where we feel satisfied by delving into the depths. We want to explore the mysteries and when we find answers and uncover hidden secrets we feel pleased. There is something about this aspect that makes history relevant and something we can actually learn from (instead of ignoring).


The moon next makes a trine to Jupiter at 10:20 AM, giving us a reason to smile. Moon-Jupiter is a gregarious aspect and so we feel a natural high today. We feel elevated, and we feel lucky! Enjoy!




At 8:19 PM the moon makes an opposition to Mars in Scorpio and then goes void-of-course. The moon opposite Mars sometimes makes we have an argument with someone, but the best way to use this energy is by allowing the drive of Mars to motivate you toward something productive instead of allowing him to force you into anger. Once the moon is void-of-course take care of routine tasks or just take it easy until the moon moves into the next sign tomorrow morning.


Venus opposes Pluto at 11:29 PM. This is a big deal and we should feel this aspect all day long and into tomorrow. Lunar aspect s are very quick and pass in an hour or so, whereas these apspects involving the other planets are much more potent, not just in terms of duration but also in terms of strength. Venus-Pluto is, in the simplest of terms, obsession with love and/or money. That which we love becomes the object of all of our thoughts. We only want to spend time involved with the object of our desire. Whether this object is a person, money, a possession, or anything else it does not really matter; the important part is that we can easily become obsessed byond what is healthy. It is admirable to adore, but dangerous to become so enamoured we forget to take care of ourselves. It reminds me of a person I know who became so infatuated with a woman that he lost his job and then his house beause he could not focus on anything but her. This is clearly unhealthy behavior. I guarantee there is some Venus-Pluto aspect involved, whether it is in his natal chart or in their synastry. The best way to use this energy is in a healthy display of lovemaking, or by channeling these feelings into a creative project. It does not mean you will act out some dangerous form of obsession but if you are prone to such behavior, or prone to jealousy, be conscious of it especially today.


The recommended gemstone for today is jade which brings our faithfulness and longevity in love relationships.


An essential oil to work with today is jasmine which is considered an aphrodisiac if you want to capitalize on the Venus-Pluto energy and take it to the next level.
