If you are prone to depression, like many of us are, this has been a very challenging week. Mercury has stationed direct but has done so in the vast sea of Neptune in Pisces, leaving us becalmed.
The word becalmed sounds almost idyllic. But despite the calm we are stranded. We are stuck and unless the favorable winds start to blow in our lives again we might just not be able to find a way out. We are trapped. We feel powerless. We wait for some divine intervention while we question our faith. We see the storm in the distance. Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn are staring each other down in what is going to be a face off of reckoning. Although the fight has not yet begun we can feel the tension in the air. We see that these two are engaged in such a deep seated battle that they will be unaware of the collateral damage they cause. And we humans, unfortunately, are the ones most likely to suffer the consequences. Our most primal instincts are telling us to take cover from the storm and yet we are stuck, exposed, on open waters without the power to propel ourselves to a safe harbor. If this is you, it’s okay to go into survival mode. Saturn stations at the end of April and between now and then he moves less than a degree so taking care of practical concerns, of the reality in which you are living, is where the emphasis is heading. Plus I find that if you take care of Saturn life eventually gets easier. Whatever you do it’s important that you keep taking care of yourself when you are feeling down. Keep exercising. Keep meditating. Keep eating right. Keep making healthy choices. If you need help or want to talk about things I am here. Schedule a session with me and we can work it out. Namaste, Nikki Rich
