Today is a great day: March Fourth! I had a teacher a long time ago who used to always say this was the best day of the year because it was a command: march forth! The moon is in the cardinal sign of Capricorn today which echoes sentiment. Capricorn is the builder and they want to take action on their goals.

The sun and moon make a sextile at 7:32 AM. This is the waning crescent so the moon appears as a crescent in the early morning before the sun rises and then remains in sky leading the sun on his journey throughout the day before the moon sets in the west a little while before the sun does.

The moon makes a sextile to mysterious Pluto at 12:17 PM. This is an aspect where we are confronted by hidden feelings. They can be positive or negative feelings but either way they are strong enough to make us a little uncomfortable. That's something about Pluto … always pushing us to confront anything which does make us uncomfortable whether it is our feelings, our fears, our hopes, our past or really anything for that matter.

We next have the moon making a square to Uranus 2:58 PM which again pushes us out of our comfort zone. Why don't we try a new approach to an old problem? Or why don't we take that risk we have secretly been wanting to take? 

The moon and Jupiter make a trine aspect at 3:30 PM. This is like a reward for taking a risk … this entire day is about going for it, confronting your fears, taking some risk, and then being rewarded for having done so. It might be a stressful day but stressful in a good way, if you let yourself go for it!

A great stone to work with today is citrine which helps us push ourselves toward more success. Citrine goes well with the Capricorn moon and also with the general theme of today: go for it!

An essential oil to try working with today is basil which helps to motivate you toward achieving your goals. Don't hold back!
