Weekly Forecast ~ Week of March 5th

We start off Monday morning with 6 (count them) planets in water signs (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Neptune) and that’s not even including Chiron who is also in a water sign.  Getting tired of being overwhelmed with feelings yet?  Well hold on because we have a big energy shift and move into more fiery territory.  So get ready to dry off and to start taking action instead of just treading water!


Monday March 5th ~
What’s going on today:  
Moon in Libra void-of-course until Moon enters Scorpio at 6:23 AM MST

The moon in Scorpio can get a bad rap but really it is a great placement where we can truly connect deep within ourselves with our own internal guidance.  The problem is that we need a sense of calm and peacefulness to connect with those deep waters within.  If we are in a state of turmoil or inner conflict then the Scorpio moon can be quite unsettling.  So the advice is to cultivate inner stillness so that you can see into the depths.


Tuesday March 6th ~
What’s going on today:  
Moon in Scorpio
Mercury ingress Aries 12:35 AM MST
Venus ingress Aries 4:46 PM MST

What it means:  
Mercury and Venus both moving into Aries is a welcome energy shift.  Pisces floats along and goes with the flow whereas Aries charges at whatever might suddenly come up for them.  Personally I appreciate this sort of “take action” energy.  So over the next few weeks it is time to speak up and act up!  Come on now, I know you are tired of being quiet about things!

Mercury will be stationing retrograde in a few weeks in the sign of Aries so start paying attention to the thoughts you think and the words you say.  This will help you better handle the same energy when it turns around and you feel like things have been turned on their heads.

Questions to ask yourself:
How can I enliven my relationships?  Is there something to speak up about in my life?  Where does my passion lie and how can I have more of that in my daily life?


Wednesday March 7th ~
What’s going on today:  
Moon in Scorpio void-of-course at 1:55 AM MST until moon enters Sagittarius at 3:03 PM MST

Just a short void-of-course moon today makes me think a siesta is in order.  Once the moon moves into Sagittarius we feel more fire and more excitement.  Since yesterday we have now had 3 planets move from water signs to fire signs and you can engage this my igniting your own internal fire.  Do something that makes you feel alive!


Thursday March 8th ~
What’s going on today:  
Moon in Sagittarius
Jupiter Station Retrograde

What it means:  
Jupiter station retrograde is something that happens every year.  Jupiter will remain in retrograde motion until July.  Jupiter represents our philosophical belief system and when Jupiter turns retrograde we have the opportunity to examine our core philosophical beliefs in order to get rid of thoughts and ideas that are no longer healthy for us to keep.

For example let’s pretend there is an identity crisis because there is something which with you have always identified yourself (a job, a child, a partner, a hobby, what have you) and now for some reason you can no longer build upon that association.  Jobs end, kids grow up, relationships evolve, and hobbies sometimes must change.  I think of a friend of mine who was an extreme sports buff for years.  Mountain biking, rock climbing, base jumping.  He has in the past few years suffered some health issues which prevent him from engaging in any of these activities any more and he is going crazy!  He can no longer be the person he has been all his life.  He must rethink his personal philosophy in order to transform his life into something enjoyable again.  We have talked about taking up new hobbies like music (he was in a band many years before) and also something like nature photography where he can still hike out into the wilderness and get that thrill from being in nature without completely pushing the limits like with the extreme sports.  But it takes a lot of inner work to make that philosophical transition … and his identity is at the heart of the matter.  Jupiter retrograde allows for addressing these internal philosophical conflicts.


Questions to ask yourself:
Is there a belief system I hold that no longer works for me?  Is my identity based on things that are no longer a part of my life?  If so how can I resolve that disconnect?


Friday March 9th ~
What’s going on today
Moon in Sagittarius void-of-course at 7:27 PM MST

Enjoy a relatively peaceful day today.  Exploring something interesting like a museum would be a great use for the Sagittarius moon.  Plan a movie night or something for later tonight and enjoy some time to relax.


Saturday March 10th ~
What’s going on today:  
Moon enters Capricorn at 2:52 AM MST

Moon in Capricorn is quite productive making today a great day to get things done.  Check those to do items off your list and set yourself up for success moving forward.


Sunday March 11th ~
What’s going on today:  
Moon in Capricorn
Mercury square Saturn
Mars trine Uranus
Sun sextile Pluto
Daylight Savings Time Begins 2:00 AM (USA) Spring Forward

What it means:  
It’s a busy day in the heavens.  First we have Mercury square Saturn which is great energy for problem solving.  That is supported by Mars trine Uranus which aids us in finding a revolutionary approach.  All of this while Sun sextile Pluto gives us the determination to see it through.

Questions to ask yourself:  
What in my life is in need of a solution?  How can I create a radical new path to get me to my goal?  Is there a way to “think outside the box” to solve my issue right now?  How can I channel my energy to be more focused?
