A tense full moon mid week sets the tone.  Are we refusing to change or are we changing everything?  We ought to be somewhere in the middle of that equation. Take what’s working and stick with it while making changes in other areas to support your current success.  One thing at a time.

Monday October 22nd ~

What it means:
Go deep, today.  Look at core beliefs, secrets, the shadow side.  Illuminate the mysteries and get a clearer picture of what’s truly important at the heart of it all.

What’s at your core?  What matters most to you?


Tuesday October 23rd ~

Sun enters Scorpio
Sun Opposite Uranus

What it means:
Happy Birthday Scorpio!  With the sun moving into a new sign we have a change of pace.  With Scorpio there is a lack of patience for any bs but there is incredible patience in cultivating what it truly important.  So here we have a month to delve into the depths of what we care about most.

The sign of Scorpio is often associated with the occult and this is a great time of year to expand your studies into this area, if you are so inclined.  Personally I like to use the energy this time of year to further develop and enhance my own intuitive abilities. All of the water signs help to do this of which Scorpio is one.

The other thing happening today is the sun opposing the planet Uranus.   This is a powerful aspect and often we can be shocked out of our comfort zone with the lightning of Uranus strikes.  If you receive that sudden inspiration today pay attention. It’s illuminating your path whether you realize it or not.

Questions to ask:
What are the most important things in your life and how can you delve into those areas more?  How can you develop stronger relationship with those closest to you? How can your intuition evolve?  What inspiration are you receiving today? Where are you too comfortable in your life? What changes can assist your personal growth?


Wednesday October 24th ~

Full Moon in Taurus
Venus sextile Saturn

What it means:
Let’s talk about Venus sextile Saturn.  Venus is all about our love, money and relationships.  Saturn is about simplicity, stability and having a good foundation.  With that in mind this aspect today is wonderful for creating that stable foundation you are looking for with your relationships.  Since Venus is retrograde this probably involves some adjustments from how you thought you would be doing things but it’s time for that adjustment now.  Showing your affection for a loved one is highly recommended today, and remember that can be done simply and without fanfare. Expressing your love doesn’t need extra sprinkles.

The full moon today is tense.  It creates a grand square with the nodal axis and has Uranus conjunct the moon in Taurus and Venus retrograde conjunct the sun in Scorpio.  If you feel off your game or easily upset that’s okay … the energy accounts for that feeling. But the real question is how to harness your discomfort into something productive.  This all happening in fixed signs which are the most stubborn and resistant to change but the invocation of Uranus means that change is necessary or even unavoidable. Something’s got to give.

The Sabian Symbol for the degree of the full moon is “An Electrical Storm”.  With the intensity of the formation of this full moon I think this Sabian Symbol is apt.  Imagine is you will a lightning storm. Can you see, in your mind’s eye, how during the moment of brilliance, the moment the lightning strikes, everything in view is illuminated?  It goes dark again, immediately, but for that split second we have a glimpse into the darkness, toward the horizon, of the bigger picture. This same thing is happening in your life.  Something is happening. It is probably a little scary and a little uncomfortable, but it is giving you that flash of vision that you need to see the lay of the land around you. That momentary insight is important.

How do I create a stronger foundation in my life for my relationships?

Am I on the right track?  Am I struggling to reach for the appropriate things in my life?  Do my feelings today matter in the big picture? How can I harness my insight today to plot a better course moving forward?


Thursday October 25th ~
What’s going on today:  
Moon in Taurus

It’s a quiet day after yesterday’s intense and uncomfortable full moon.  Today’s energy is good for getting yourself back on track and back down to business, if you got knocked off your rails yesterday.  One thing at a time, one moment at a time. And weather permitting get outside into nature to help rebalance your own energy as well.


Friday October 26th ~

Sun Conjunct Venus in Scorpio

What it means:  
When the sun and Venus are conjunct we shine a light (the sun) on what we relate to, what we find beautiful, what we resonate with artistically (Venus).  When I talk about “what we relate to” this is much broader than just our interpersonal relationships. It includes culture, music, art, mood, anything that you find appealing and attracted to.  For example you might love the 1960’s and anything having to do culturally or artistically with the 1960’s. This aspect highlights these affinities and allows us to lean into them more so that we are able to better embody the energy for ourselves.  And as we become more the embodiment of the things we love the more beautiful we become because we are more resonate with what makes us tick on the inside.

Questions to ask:
What am I attracted to?  How can I bring that which I am drawn to more into being in my own day to day life?


Saturday October 27th ~
What’s going on today:  
Moon in Gemini void-of-course at 11:37 PM CDT
Sun Sextile Saturn

What it means:
The sun and Saturn together are great planets for creating a strong foundation.  Sometimes with Saturn we have to set aside what we might want to be doing in order to take care of our responsibilities but let’s call this laying the groubdwork.  Once we have that groundwork laid and our foundation is set then we have the freedom to enjoy other areas of our life. Today’s energy should help with productivity and getting those troublesome tasks out of the way.

Questions to ask:
What can I do today to create a firmer foundation in my life?  Are there basic needs I should be taking care of right now?


Sunday October 28th ~
What’s going on today:
Moon enters Cancer at 6:27 PM CDT

It’s an all day long void-of-course moon in Gemini until early evening when the moon moves into Cancer.  Seems like a great day to go window shopping or to play video games. Don’t try to do anything too serious today but if you want to catch up with family or friends that’s a great idea.
